The Chisholm Education Centre is a natural progression in the relationship between Chisholm Institute and Phillip Island Nature Parks.  This successful, well established training partnership commenced in 2004 with a Certificate III in Tourism Operations course.  Since then the Phillip Island Nature Parks' staff have completed Certificate and Diploma courses in Hospitality, Tourism, Training and Assessment, Advanced Diploma of Management and Customer Service.

The Chisholm Education Centre will extend skills development to the Phillip Island community and help meet the region’s demand for training.

Chisholm  Introduces New Higher Qualification in Ecotourism Management

Chisholm Bass Coast in partnership with Phillip Island Nature Parks is introducing the first vocational graduate certificate qualification that combines the science of ecotourism with business management and features a residential component.

 Ideal for long-term tourism, environmental conservation, or ecotourism workers who either don’t have a qualification or want to further develop their existing qualifications and enhance their career. The Vocational Graduate Certificate in Ecotourism Management allows students  to apply the skills and knowledge in sustainable ecotourism management they have gained to their workplace.

Mainly conducted online, Chisholm’s Vocational Graduate Certificate in Ecotourism Management  is unique in that it features two residential study components at the Phillip Island Nature Parks.  Students will undertake a variety of work based projects accessing the PINP’s  facilities and expert staff who will be assisting with the delivery of this program.
