NAIDOC Week - BECAUSE OF HER WE CAN!
8-15 July 2018
Bass Coast is proud to support Reconciliation with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples and to share in celebrating NAIDOC Week and the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community members across Bass Coast.
This year's theme celebrates the essential role that women have played - and continue to play - as active and significant role models at the community, local, state and national levels.
Phillip Island Nature Parks, Bass Coast Shire Council, Bunurong Land Council, Westernport Water, Bass Coast South Gippsland Reconciliation Group and our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community are working together to present a shared program of activities to celebrate NAIDOC Week.
