SpongeBob SquarePants, Meet the Farmers plus FREE Wild Island Discovery activities

The Antarctic Journey at the Nobbies is playing host to everyone’s favourite fry-cook, Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob SquarePants, for 3 exciting days during these holidays. From Friday 29 September to Sunday 1 October, Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob SquarePants will be on hand to meet his fans between 12 and 2.30pm and guide them through to the themed sand art and face painting activities.

In addition to the usual hands-on fun, interactive activities and immersive multimedia experience at the Antarctic Journey, there will be a range of daily ocean themed art and craft activities plus a story corner throughout the entire school holiday period.

Back on dry land, visitors to Churchill Island are in for a real treat every morning with some terrific farm activities to really involve the kids. Watch Billy the sheep dog bring the sheep up for the Chat and Shear session with the friendly farmer, help sort the wool and use the spinning wheel, then take a photo with Billy.

From one Billy to another, watch how traditional Billy tea is made before heading to the animal nursery where every child will have a bag of feed to share with the hungry baby animals. These ‘meet the farmer’ sessions take place between 10.30 and 11.30 daily during the holidays.

All of these wonderful activities are included in the already discounted Phillip Island Nature Parks 4 Parks Pass which includes entry to the Penguin Parade, Koala Conservation Centre, Churchill Island Heritage Farm and of course the Antarctic Journey at the Nobbies.

As if all of this wasn’t enough, the Education Rangers at the Nature Parks are also putting on some great FREE Wild Island Discovery activities like Koala Prowls, Rockpool Rambles, Kite Workshops, Turn the Tide Beach Discovery sessions and Bubbles not Balloons.
