There are always so many reasons to visit Churchill Island, but particularly so in the month of January. From delicious local food and happy hour, to live music events and farming activities, there's something for everyone.
Looking for a peaceful place to go for a stroll? Churchill Island's wide-open grounds provide just that. Follow the walking trails around the bay, spotting native birdlife overhead and playing peek-a-boo with highland cattle in the fields. Phillip Island Park Run also starts back on Saturday 16th January at 8am, for those interested in more than just a stroll.
Browsing for brunch options made from farm-fresh produce? Our Cafe is open from 10am - 6pm on weekdays and 9am - 6pm on weekends for the rest of January. Build your own farmhouse style breakfast between 9am and 12pm, or enjoy our a-la-carte lunch options.
You can also top up your own supply of fresh, local produce at the weekly Churchill Island Farmers Market, on every Saturday in January from 8am - 1pm.
Looking for family fun activities to entertain both little kids and big kids? Churchill Island Heritage Farm is the place for you! From 10:30am onwards, guests can enjoy ranger talks and tours of the grounds, blacksmithing and working dogs demonstrations, old fashioned games like the egg & spoon race, farming activities like sheep shearing and cow milking, and more... There's an entire day worth of fun to be had.
Planning to visit in the afternoon? Come by between 3:30pm and 5:30pm from Monday to Saturday to catch Happy Hour - selected beer, wine and cider at just $5 each.
Interested in lounging on the grass listening to relaxing live tunes? Our Churchill Island Summer Sunday Sessions are on Sunday 10th, Sunday 17th & Sunday 24th January. Entry is free but we have limited spots available, so get in quick.
