Phillip Island Nature Parks will temporarily close its attractions to visitors in line with advice from the Victorian Government as a result of restriction changes for regional Victoria from Thursday 6 August.
“Our attractions including the Penguin Parade, Koala Conservation Reserve and Churchill Island have been operating on weekends with free entry for regional Victorians, restricted numbers and strict physical distancing measures but will now close in line with guidelines,” said Nature Parks CEO Catherine Basterfield.
“We will continue our organisation’s commitment to ensuring the safety of our visitors, staff and community and our thoughts are with all those affected. We look forward to welcoming visitors back to our attractions when it is safe to do so.”
Regional visitors with existing bookings will be contacted and all future bookings suspended until further notice. Please refer to www.penguins.org.au for more information, or contact the Nature Parks at firstname.lastname@example.org
Churchill Island walking tracks will also be closed.
