PENGUIN PARADE VISITOR CENTRE DEVELOPMENT
In April 2016, the Hon. Daniel Andrews MP, Premier of Victoria announced that the Andrews Labor Government will provide $48.2 million for the new Penguin Parade Visitor Centre, with the Nature Parks contributing a further $10 million, for a total project cost of $58.2 million. Construction commenced in February 2018 and is due to be complete in November 2019.

MAJOR STAGES OF CONSTRUCTION
New Visitor Car Park opened on 1 May with temporary walkway to existing Visitor Centre.
Coach parking continues in existing Coach parking area.
New Coach Parking area is due to open in September 2018 with all visitors taking the new central walkway to existing Visitor Centre.
Construction of new Visitor Centre will commence.
New Visitor Centre due to open in November 2019.
