This is not a hangover. That’s the message from staff at Phillip Island’s Koala Conservation Centre as they reassure visitors they’re witnessing business as usual for the slumbering furry residents and not an unbearable New Year’s hangover. Koala sleeping2 240dpi 800x Dangling limbs and droopy eyelids have long made koalas the subject of sobering speculation, particularly by international tourists, but staff at the Koala Conservation Centre are quick to quash the ‘drunk koala’ myth.
