Horsing around with Lego Brick Play on Cup Weekend

The Spring Carnival often sees some creative fashions on the field, but this year it’s time for the kids to get creative in the Lego brick play Build Zones in the Antarctic Journey at the Nobbies.

The team at Inside the Brick are bringing thousands of Lego pieces to the Lab in the Antarctic Journey, along with some great ideas and inspirations to help kids create a masterpiece. Choose from one of the themed tables and build a marine creature like a penguin or seal. Maybe cars or Minecraft or horses are more to your liking – there’s plenty to choose from.

Build Zones operate daily between 11.00am and 4.00pm from Saturday 4th to Monday 6th November, and entry to these supervised build sessions is free with an Antarctic Journey ticket or a 4 Parks Pass.

Once the kids have completed their creations, they can explore the Antarctic Journey’s interactive displays and enter the Chill Zone and compare their thermal image to an Emperor penguin’s, or visit the Sound Lab. Then it’s off to be surrounded by the giant screens and augmented reality experience where they can reach out and pat a penguin or stroke a seal.
