Visit The Nobbies Reserve

Take care when driving on Phillip Island especially at dawn, dusk and at night when wildlife is most active.

To report injured wildlife, call Wildlife Victoria on (03) 8400 7300.

Overlooking the Bass Strait, the Nobbies boasts spectacular clifftop views. Follow the road past the Penguin Parade, through the scenic Summerland Peninsula, until you reach the very tip of the peninsula. Explore the winding boardwalks (500m in length) and see the explosive blowhole in action. Gaze out to the Nobbies rock formations and beyond to Seal Rocks, home of Australia's largest fur seal colony. You may even spot a migrating whale in the right season.

Visiting the penguin parade? Check our penguin arrival calendar to see what time they come ashore each night of the year.

There is something for everyone these school holidays with special screenings of Happy Feet and Oddball in the Penguin Theatre, the Penguin Parade Adventure Walk, storytelling sessions and more! To view the full program or to book, visit: What's On

The spectacular Nobbies boardwalks are open! On the way to soak up the views, stop in at the Penguin Parade Visitor Centre, open from midday each day and only a short drive away, to pick up a hot beverage and to access bathroom facilities. Public toilets are also available at the Penguin Parade car park.

Please note the Nobbies Centre, café and toilets remain closed. We apologise for any inconvenience. The Boulevard, running along the South coast of the Summerland Peninsula, between the Nobbies and the Penguin Parade, remains open for daytime access.
