What to wear
The penguins arrive at sunset, Penguin Parade is an outdoors all-weather event. Please come prepared with appropriate protection for sun, rain, windy and/or cold conditions. A rug to sit on or for warmth is also handy. If you own binoculars, bring them along to help spot little penguin rafts that may be forming at sunset.
When to arrive
Please arrive at the session time stated on your ticket. Late arrival may lead to no available seating and standing room only.
Please allow additional travel time in peak periods.
No photography
There is strictly no photography or filming after sunset.

Penguin Parade tour or experience ticket holders are advised to arrive no later than session time stated on the ticket. Late arrival may result in ticket being forfeited.

Ability to ascend/descend stairs required, alternative viewing location offered if unable to negotiate stairs.
Binoculars and headset are supplied; commentary delivered in English only.
Tour duration approximately 1 hour 30 minutes but may be extended subject to penguin arrival times.
About Ultimate Adventure Tour

Age restriction of 16 years and over applies to this tour.
Reasonable fitness required, including the ability to walk on soft sand, descend and ascend 20 stairs, and walk up to 1.5 km in each direction on uneven surfaces.
Tour may be modified in extreme weather and/or high tides for visitor safety.
Tour duration approximately 2–2.5 hours but may be extended subject to penguin arrival times. Commentary is delivered in English only.
What to wear for Ultimate Adventure Tour
The penguins arrive at sunset, Penguin Parade is an outdoors all-weather event. Please come prepared with appropriate protection for sun, windy and/or cold conditions. Please bring your own gumboots and wet-weather gear if appropriate (must be dark and non-reflective).
Closed walking shoes are mandatory.

Concession tickets apply to General Admission tickets only for Australian Pensioner Concession Card, DVA Cards, Australian Seniors Card, Victorian Carer ‘We Care’ card holders. Concession card must be presented on entry.
Companion Card holders are entitled to free of charge entry for all admission ticket types. Companion Card tickets to be booked in advance. One free of charge admission per companion card. Companion Card must be presented on entry.

St Kilda Pier is situated approximately 25 minutes from the Melbourne CBD. Please note that paid parking along the St Kilda foreshore is limited.

What to wear
At St Kilda you can see penguins all year round, regardless of the weather. We suggest you bring warm clothes, as even after a hot day, St Kilda Pier can become cool and windy.
The St Kilda Penguin Viewing Experience is an all-weather event, please come prepared with appropriate protection for sun, windy and/or cold conditions.
Please note that sessions may be cancelled in extreme weather conditions to ensure the safety of visitors and staff.
When to arrive
To ensure everyone has a smooth experience, please arrive at or before the session time indicated on your ticket. We recommend arriving at least 10 minutes early. Ticket is valid only for the date and session time stated on your ticket.
Am I able to take photos and videos?
Penguins have sensitive eyes, and a bright, sudden flash or unusual light can frighten or disorientate a penguin. To ensure penguins keep coming back to this special area we ask you ensure that the flash on your camera or device is switched off before you enter the platform. Torches are prohibited.

BANDICOOT DISCOVERY TOUR

About the Bandicoot Discovery Tour
All ages are welcome. Children under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
What to wear: closed walking shoes are mandatory. Please bring your own gumboots and wet-weather gear if necessary (must be dark and non-reflective).
Dress appropriately for the conditions, as the weather in southern Victoria along our coast can be unpredictable.
This is an all-weather tour. Participants should be able to stand and walk on uneven ground for up to 45 minutes in an outdoor setting.
Please note that this walking tour is not currently suitable for prams.
Tour departure: ticket holders meet guides at Samuel Amess Drive, Newhaven VIC 3925 for a short drive onto Churchill Island.
The tour duration is approximately 2 to 2.5 hours but may be adjusted based on bandicoot viewing.
Number of participants is limited to twenty (20) per tour.
Commentary is delivered in English only.
Late arrivals will not be admitted.
